About Me
I am the Director of Instruction at the Centennial Golf Academy which is located at the Centennial Golf Course Course near Knoxville, Tennessee. We have a state of the art 2000 sq ft indoor teaching center. I believe the most effective golf instructors exhibit success in 4 areas.

I knew that I was destined to be a Golf Instructor 35 years ago.I have always had a passion for teaching golf and helping my students achieve their golf goals.I utilize the latest methods and technologies within a caring teaching style. My teaching philosophy centers around showing each student their strengths and the one or two areas that need improvement. Each student receives a video email of their golf swing with suggestions after each lesson.

I work to deliver extra yards and straighter more consistent shots to my students and that means more pars, more birdies and more fun.

I have studied under or worked for Hank Haney, Chuck Cook, David Leadbetter, Mike Hebron and other noted PGA teaching professionals. I have been to many PGA seminars and Teaching Clinics, I believe that it is vital for A golf instructor to observe the Best Teachers giving lessons.Every year I am expanding my knowledge of how to deliver my analysis in a more effective manner. I am a member of the Golf Business Network Instructor Division which is a national group of successful teachers nationwide.

I have developed my style of analysis and correction by having given over 10000 lessons

I have been a member of the PGA of America for 18 years. I have also one of only two PGA Professionals in East Tennessee who have completed the PGA Advanced Certification program in golf instruction.

It is a pleasure to help many golfers each year reach their golf goals. I am especially successful in helping people correct their golf swings. if you have been puzzled and frustrated with your game then I would like to earn your trust . Although I have had students achieve golf scholarships it is a pleasure helping young golfers simply develop a lifelong appreciation for golf. I have always had a policy that adults taking lessons can bring along children free of charge.

I have been fortunate to win 5 PGA teaching awards, including the 2005 Tennessee PGA Teacher of The Year and the 1995 Hawaii PGA Teacher of The Year. I was recognized in the November 2015 issue of Golf Digest as being one of the Top Teachers in Tennessee.
